Week Two

This week, I only got to be with my sister for a couple of days. I didn’t get to observe her as well as I’ve been able to because I went out of town. So for the few days I was able to be with her and observe her, I noticed she wasn’t really talking as much as she usually does. She is usually energetic and all over the place. I thought maybe it was because she’s getting older, going through puberty and stuff like that.
Turns out she was sick, and had a terrible stomach ache. Explained why she didn’t really want to do anything, that whole day she spent laying around and watching TV. Since my mom had to go to work, I was left taking care of her. I made her some soup, and we watched her favorite movies all day.
The next day she was feeling better, I'm glad because it was her birthday. And who wants to be sick on their birthday? No one! We had actually celebrated her birthday last weekend, my mom took her out to sushi; it's one of her favorite foods. We also took her to go watch a movie, the Ouija. It was a terrible movie so it wasn't any fun not watching her get scared. Since she is easily scared.

She's a strong girl, but at the same time emotional. She gets the most emotional when she is compared to her dad. There's been a lot of past experiences we've had that leads to the reason she doesn't like being compared to him. It's sad, but I don't blame her. To end this post, the last day I got to spend with her, she was full of emotions. She was sad for the fact my mom and I were leaving to San Diego for the weekend. But at the same time she was happy because she wasn't going to be stuck in a car for 11 hours. She cried a little before we left, and hugged us both really tight. I hoped that the few days I wasn't with her would go by fast for her.
