Today is the very first day I have sat down and really observe my little big sister. I call her my little big sister because she's super tall and only 11 years old. A few things I have noticed is that she is very insecure about her height, weight, and foot size. She also gets teased a lot at school because of all those things. It really sucks, which is why I think she has gotten so insecure about every little thing. she towers over everyone in her class, and her classmates think that just because she is tall, she belongs in a different grade. Then that leads to her thinking she is stupid, which she is not.
On the subject of school, I've noticed she is a very slow learner. It takes her awhile to understand anything they have learned. My mother thinks she is just lazy and doesn't like to pay attention, but I believe it does take her a tough time to understand. Especially with so many of her classmates teasing her most of the time and my mom talking to her in a high angry voice when trying to help her with homework.
At home, I've seen she loves to have my mother's attention. She will get jealous when my mom is babying any one of my sisters or myself. She'll get sad when this happens, and will leave to another room and start to cry. My sister is a very energetic kid and loves to do all these activities. She loves to go on YouTube, turn up the volume and sing along to a song at least 15 times. When it's a pretty day outside, she loves to go outside and play with her neighborhood friends and play soccer, tag, ride their bikes, and just hang out.
